I always see things on Dr Phil and others about pack rats and the damage it does to families. Well I have the opposite of that and it damages my family too I want to know of others with this experience or similar

It's considered a minimalist and yes im one..i tend not to like to hang on to things, and feel that to much stuff crowds the place, so i don't even really collect anything. As for damaging a family because of it, well if you throw away things that are important to others then yes it be very easy to damage your family, but if your careful, and make sure it's not bothering anyone it doesn't cause any problems. I like things kept neat clean and organized, i guess this is a problem for some people, but my family is well adapted.

I wouldn't say I have a "disorder" but I don't like clutter around me and I'm not sentimental about material things. I'd rather have order and a few nice things around. It doesn't damage my family, but I'm not into collecting or having alot of stuff. I like a minimal life style. It keeps my life and my home simple. Simple is good.

I think I'm comfortably in the middle. Too much clutter drives me nuts, but I hve a few collections and of course I love clothes and shoes, handbags, etc. Our house is neat, but it's not barren either.

i go back and forth, i just dont understand how people can just keep so much clutter and uneeded things in their house, it drives me crazy. i only keep thingd i need or really like.
