Stop eating food with blue dye in it. One time I ate a half a can of cream cheese frosting and my pooh was chalk white - scared the hell out of me.

If your stools are formed then don't worry.Normally green stools can be indicative of irritable bowel syndrome, or consumption of foods that are green. On the other hand, if your stools are loose and green that might be due to gastrointestinal infections. If the symptoms continue, imaging the colon (i.e. with a colonoscopy or flexible sidmoidoscopy) can be done to evaluate the lower GI tract for more serious diseases (i.e. inflammatory bowel disease or malabsorption). You may need to have stool cultures sent.

When your poop is green it is a sign that you have a GI(Gastrointestinal) infection. It normally clears your system in a day or two, if it does not, give your Dr a call- they may want t put you on an antibiotic. But, they (the green stools) usually don't require any interventions

That's normal. It will go away. Most likely you ate something high in iron, like shellfish.
