2 bottles dry red SPANISH wine (preferably from the RIOJA region) -- chilled
2 cups Orange Juice
1 orange, sliced
2 bottles/cans good Ginger Ale (Schweppes is my favorite)
Zest of 1 orange
Ice cubes

Mix wine, orange juice, orange slices and zest in a pitcher. Let stand in the fridge for a couple of hours. When ready to serve, add ginger ale and ice cubes. ENJOY!

ok this is very good and when I make I make a rather large batch

I start w/ 2 1.5 liters of red wine, usually from Chile, dry and a blend Cab/Merlot

1/2 cup sugar
2 limes cut up
2orange cut up
2 lemon
2 peach
1 apple

1/2 cup rum or brandy

Mix all and let sit in the cooler for 24 hours. Add 1-2 liters of club soda depending on taste when you go to serve.

Also recently have substituted Sprite zero for the club soda, as well as Fresca and it has turned out great.

GOOD LUCK
CHEERS.
