They think they are cool.
That look started in the prisons. The guys that wore their pants low on their hips, were the "girls".

placed on dark leggings, like black. Or, placed on panties that are an identical shade as your leggings so they're going to look an identical at the same time. Or, placed on a thong; only 'reason that's smaller, lol. only needed to enable you understand that leggings as pants isn't this style of solid theory.. besides, wish this allows.

No clue. Why even wear pants at all if the underwear is showing 99% of the way, anyways???

Because older people get so reliably upset over it that there's a charge to it. The trend's actually pretty much gone away in NYC; it'll go away elsewhere, too, if adults just simmer down and let it.

See it all the time. I dont get it either. Obviously a display..but of what I'mnot sure other than showing laziness, uncaring, and give a sh*t attitude towards everyone.

They see it all over the t.v. crotch grabbing is another pet peeve I have......what is up with THAT? They all look like they have an insatiable itch or something.....I wish the fitted jeans would come back, everyone looked so good in them in the 70's/80's

I remember reading that the style somehow imitates prisoners, who have their belts taken away so they can't hang themselves.
Kids have always wanted to be "gangsta," "outlaws," tough, cool, etc.
I think it's silly too.
Probably no worse than love beads and bell bottoms, back in my day . . .

LOL....well I am one of them... I just .....dress to impress....haha!! LOok I dont really show my underwear .... but my pants are really low, but not under my shoes;).It is really comfy, you should try it when you are wearing jeans, you'll look pretty cool.
