My daughter , who was estranged for a while, is getting married. I want to write something nice in a card to wish her a better life now. She has two children (not by who she is marrying ). I do not feel especially close anymore but want to write something nice.

It appers that you have feelings for your daughter. Does she know that? Can she feel those feelings? She is not the first or last to make a mistake in life. Forgivness and love come from God. He loves her and has forgiven her, are you better than God? Can you not do the same, before it's too late. Open your heart to her, her children, and her new husband, you will enrich your life and theirs.

I think you should write something from your heart. My mother and I do not talk either and I am getting married 9-2-06. I have 3 boys and it breaks me heart because their grandma wants nothing to do with them. Its a long story, but I dream that my mom would come around. I would really love it if she sent me a letter that came from the heart.
