Ownage... lol
If I am playing a video game like Halo, and I win against someone with a huge margin between our scores...
I could say "That's pure ownage"
It is basically telling the person that you are so much better than them, you may as well own them. You are their master.
It is a way of saying that you are the best, or that you won by a whole lot. It is used by geeks or wannabe geeks.

Pure Pwnage (pronounced “Pure Ownage”) is an Internet-distributed mockumentary series by ROFLMAO Productions. The show portrays aspects of “the life of a pro gamer,” featuring a Canadian self-proclaimed pro video game player named Jeremy. Through a combination of interviews and situational conflict resolution, Jeremy reveals what it is like to be a pro gamer. Locations for the show include Calgary, Montréal, and mainly Toronto, but it has been recently filmed in the Netherlands. The creators of the show estimate their viewer base to be over three million.
The show is filmed in gonzo from the point of view of Jeremy’s roommate and brother, Kyle. As of late 2005, Kyle is currently attending film school and will soon graduate. The Pure Pwnage website states that ROFLMAO may go into full-time production after Kyle’s graduation, and, as of January 2006, is negotiating the airing of Pure Pwnage on television. A DVD is now scheduled to be released after the finale, episode 12, which is the planned end of the first season. The Pure Pwnage crew will have a brief hiatus after the finale.
This show has created a near-cult-like following. The characters, as seen through several episodes, are becoming known “in RL” (real life).[citation needed] Although possibly staged, the recognition seems genuine. As well, the official Internet forum has several users counting posts into the thousands from daily in-depth examination of episodes or, more frequently, choice banter between enthusiasts.
Most of the information about the Pure Pwnage series comes from the TeamSpeak chat public interviews[2], the Pure Pwnage website, the featurettes, and the regular episodes

To be "owned"/"pwned", it is both a compliment and a derogatory mark at the same time. It complements the pwner at the complete dominance of what they did (similiar word: overkill), and derides the pwned (from the complete helplessness/stupidity of their defensive actions) in one breath. It is a common phrase used in MMORPGs (online games), and gains its mainstream origins from Runescape, however has been used in obscurity since the Doom days.
Example : a novice skateboarder slides down handrail, falls off the board and onto the rail, and wounds his 'pride'... "He got owned!" (complementing the severity of the injury, deriding the skateboarder of doing something so stupid at his ability level).
The origin of the "p" (pwned) has its origins in 133t5p34k (leetspeak, aka l33t, the language of hackers from the 80's, popularized by the net, and now looked upon as being immature), as well as being a likely typo of those who rapidly type "own" (as the "o" and "p" are right next to each other on a QWERTY keyboard). Both owned and pwned (pronounced "p-ownd": 'pwny' would be pronounced "pony") mean the same thing, though "pwned" tends to carry stronger feelings than "owned".
"Pure Ownage" refers to a complete and perfect domination of a situation, where there was no remotely challenging defense despite the defender's efforts (think: a chess game where one side loses ALL pieces, the other loses none).

lol havent been around nerds much i see. If you say someone got owned it's an insult, and means either something bad happened to them or they got dominated in some competition (be it a computer game or something else).
