A freckle is a dark mark on our body...A mole is an underground furry animal. Haha just kidding. You can tell the difference between a freckle and a mole because moles are raised not flush with the body...almost like a dark colored wart.

Freckles are usually flat and a part of your skin. If you run your fingers across your skin, you won't feel freckles. Moles are raised and you can feel them on your skin. There are different degree of moles also. Have them checked.

Frecles are an area where the skin pigment is darker. A mole has neoplastic cells in the dermis and can turn malignant although few do. Freckles are harmless forever.
