i just made a big mistake?

any ideas? okay i sent a STUPID message telliing this guy that i liked him, but like an hour later i realized who i really liked, and it wasn't him. So basically he's gonna open that message and find out later that it wasn't exactly intended for him...what do i do?!

Not much you can do really. Just have to tell him the truth, that the message was intended for some one else. The chickens way out would be to send him another text saying "oops sorry, sent that last message to you by mistake!"

if you didn't put his name on it, apologize profusely and say you sent it to the wrong guy. You could also tell him you weren't thinking when you did that, and apologize. Remember you are going to hurt his ego. He may lash back out at you. Don't respond to that: you earned it! Or do you want to tell him you were drunk? On a dare? I think the best is tell him you weren't thinking and maybe even that you were mad at #1 so you wrote to him as #2. Or scared to tell #1 so you freaked out and told #2 but you didn't mean to tell him he was the only one, only that you like him. Say you worded it stupidly. Say your friends did it. Tell him the truth but stroke his ego and say he was your only crush for a long time but you never got a response so you fell for #1. Have a friend tell him, really nicely.The friend can say she doesn't understand why you would change your mind, she can call you fickle. Let yourself be the fall guy; remember, you earned it. By all means do not insult him in any way and only apologize even if he is mean and says he didn't want to see you anyway. Do this as fast as possible, on the phone if you are very brave, email if not. Write a full email confession-- a long mail where you totally stroke his ego and call yourself fickle and apologize for it. Saying you were mad at #1 at the time might help a lot. Send him another message and tell him that you are sorry, but that message was not intended for him, but you just pressed the wrong number. Make it sound like a joke or smth and try to get out of the situation by laughing at what happened.

Seems you need to learn from your mistakes. Grow UP! You do not really like one guy and an hour later really like someone else.
You should not send emails like that anyway...comunicate face to face your thoughts not over the INTERNET!
I was going to report this as abuse, GAMING FOR POINTS, but I figured it must be some inexperienced KID that needs to learn!
Tell him the truth:
Your hormones are raging and made you go nuts for HIM one minute then another CUTER guy came along and you fell for him...be HONEST! THEN hope that you do not change your mind again after you tell him that!

If you're sure you don't like the person you sent a text 2, Just send another text saying that was meant for another person.
