I am always tired, no matter how much sleep/rest I get. I exercise, but all it does is make me even MORE tired. I try to eat reasonably good, drink LOTS of water, but still I am exhausted. Ifeel like I am cheating my daughter and my man because of this. All I ever feel like doing is laying down and zoning out. Can some one give me an idea of what is up here or some tips to get energized?

I am not by nature a lazy person at all. I work, go to school and take care of things. But I have not been to school all summer, yet I am even more exhausted than when I was going.

Get to a doctor, It may be your thyroid gland. Without proper blood tests, this would be hard to diagnose. One of the symptoms is tiredness all the time.

There are several things that could be the root of your problem. Have you started your period lately? I know, I know...I sound like a mom with her first question of "Are you pregnant?" but with us women, that usually is the first thing to come to mind. There are also several diseases and conditions that could be causing your fatigue. Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is the one that springs to mind immediately, followed by narcolepsy, and after that maybe a thyroid imbalance. This is really something that you should talk to a doctor about, because it is decreasing your quality of life. Good luck

Are you feeling depressed about something and maybe you don't even realize it.

I have had that feeling myself and found that I too was always exhausted and did not want to go out or do anything, and I'd sleep alot. Well, I came to realize that I just wasn't happy anymore and feeling sad about my life.

I changed jobs and went out and got a makeover and I immediately started to feel a bit better. So maybe??????

I know what you mean because I feel exactly like you. This even makes me feel old sometimes althought I am just 30 years old. It is like our batteries are very weak lol. I have started to take vitamins and this is going to be the last thing I try to do before I give up.

why not try an alternative medical approach? how we are physically is based on the condition of our "internal energy system". this is the basis for all healing in, for example, the far east , and has been working well for thousands of years. western medicine has been working semi competently for a few hundred. i'd see an acupuncturist or naturopath. with your "symptoms", and going to an M.D. you could wind up with numerous medications with side effects. with the "eastern approach", you could well be "cured" since they work on causes rather than symptoms, and the medications, if any, generally have no side efects. best of luck. this approach of course is only my opinion and not a medical diagnosis of any sort (i thought i'd throw that in to be mature and official about it :-) ).

I was having trouble with being tired all the time and I started taking B-12 and B-6 every morning and it seems to be helping.

If you're not taking vitamins, try that.

Otherwise, it sounds like you may need to go to your doctor. You may have a minor case of chronic fatigue or a hormonal imbalance that needs to be addressed.
