Don't go out with 'flu, it's not fair to your mates or to anyone else you might breathe over. Viruses are spread by droplet infection which means that you CAN give it to anyone just by breathing into the atmosphere, not just coughing or sneezing, depending on how infectious the virus is.
Be thoughtful to yourself and to all the people you could make ill by going out with it.
Your mates might be missing you, but they'll not be missing your germs - they certainly won;t thank you for messing up their weekends with a nasty sniffle! If they want to see you that badly they can brave your germs and come see you themselves...

If your determined to go out then dont cough or sneeze on anyone as this is how flu spreads.

Do your friends a favor and stay home! Tell them that you are contagious and you wouldn't want to make any of them sick. they will appreciate your thoughtfulness.

stay home til you're better. if they're really your friends, they'll understand. Once you're better, THEN go out.
