We didn't steal indian land. We got it through trade and war, you make it sound like it happened in one day - it happened over about 400 years, and some argue it's still going on now.

Can someone show me a map of Mexico, USA, and Canada where the indians actually were in a country, keeping in mind at least in America, at no time were there every more than 9 million of them in a country that now has 300 million?

Not dissing heritage, but 9 million peoples could never have stood up to any major force at that time. If it wasn't the Europeans, it would have been Spain and Portugal at least and like the other peoples that became extinct in Mexico, the Indians would have gone the same way.

If I am not mistaken there's more indians in America now than their were then.

All of the Native American Indians I know, and I know quite a few, consider themselves American first.

They work hard to keep the heritage alive so their children appreciate their roots....

My knowledge is limited, however, to the Catawba, Cherokee and Sioux.

long ago we kill the biggest majority thru smallpox, we were so nice to trade, that we sent them loads of blankets all that had been infested with the white people smallpox germs-our best germ warfare ever.my daughter & i went to a reservation & museum. the cherokee tribe ways still surpass our ways. their culture was truly brillant & peace loving. i only wish that we could have adopted their way of life.
