looks get you noticed initially when you are out, but people can be as pretty as anything on the outside but ugly inside
inner beauty is important too, and us 'ugly' people are generally more beautiful on the inside and therefore get a chance at love too
plus beauty is in the eye of the beholder

That proves looks aren't as important for everyone.
I was involved in a study two years ago and discovered that a large number of "couples" end up with someone who bears some resemblance to them in some way (not always looks) so less attractive men end up with less attractive women. This is because if you are less attractive you set your own sights lower.

Thats because luckily not all people are shallow idiots like you.
I would go for a man because they were intelligent and made me laugh and had the ability to laugh at themselves.... it wouldn't matter to me what they looked like...
I find that the really good looking men are so emotionally stunted its untrue, but they sound like they would have a lot in common with you.

because not everyone is shallow enough to only date the supermodels of this life!
Having said that, I dont think I could date an ugly guy - so my hands are up - Im shallow!!! But having said that - I always have a hottie on my arm!!!!!!!

looks help. but only important if you're cold callous,shallow,arrogant,slightly stupid,can't chew gum and walk at the same time kinda hot. otherwise the outer shell is not as important whats inside. ugly is childish,and how others see

Looks aren't that important, and what happens when your looks fade. Your left with the personality which is the first thing to look for. No good being with a good looking person if their personality doesn't match with yours.
