I'm all the time doing nice things for strangers. If i see someone fumbling around in front of me in line looking for change or putting something back over a few bucks, I'll just pay the difference for them. I do nice things for strangers hoping that they will pay it forward. There is no need to live life as dog eats dog and take everyone else out to get to the top. I always have said if your helping someone else get to the top, you're closer to the top yourself.

Why do u want to help a stranger when more than half of the time, the person who is going to rob you, rape your women, or beat up your children are strangers?
Why pretend to be nice to someone else when you have to guard against them too?

Yesterday, I paid the toll $2.20 for the car behind me and said to tell them have a nice day.
Some one did that to me once and I felt on top of the world all day because some one was kind enough to pay and its a great way of saying "hey your a stranger but I paid the toll for you out of kindness", so I payed back the favor by passing it on.

Today...when I dignified a silly question with a good answer...I was being kind (smile). Seriously...I feel that if I tell others what I may have done for someone I don't know...that I invalidate it somehow. It doesn't seem as meaningful for some reason....so I don't like to talk about it. I keep it between me and God.
