There's no telling anymore. There are kids out there having kids at 12 and 13, and their parents had them at 16 or 17. So they could be as young as 28 or so. Or they could have waited a long time and now have great-grandchildren. They could be as old as 100. It really depends on how old they look. You have to think...If I had my daughter at age 13, that would make her 12 now. And if she got pregnant, I could become a grandmother. And I'm only 25. (Luckily, I had her at 20 and she's only 5!) You just have to mainly go by a person's looks.

I usually presume they are in their 50s, but these days, you can have a 34 year old grandmother.

when I was younger I always thought of grandparents being at least in their 60's. But now that I became a grandmother at the age of 42 I've changed my mind! lol

At the youngest Id say at least 35. A 35 yr old person can have an 18 yr old kid who just had their own child so these days you can never be too sure. Sad isnt it
