Islam does not reject Jesus as the Messiah. He is regarded as the one and only Messiah born to the Virgin Mary.

By the way, these two differences did not exist at the time of the Holy Prophet. It is a division that occurred after his passing.

Sunni - follow the Qur'an and Sunnah and accept the Four Rightly Guided Khalifa (Leaders) as they occurred in history.

Shiite - a deviant of the true religion, who do not accept the Four Rightly Guided Khalifas as they occurred in history. They believe the 3rd Khalifa, Ali (the cousin of the Holy Prophet) should of been the first Khalifa and that leadership should of been kept in the family of the Prophet, only. However, this was not the will of the Prophet himself. He appointed Abu Bakr (his friend and father-in-law) to be the next in line.

unfortunately, this division has cause much unjust killing in this history of Islam.

Not much difference since they BOTH reject Jesus as the Messiah, Son of God!
The Bible says: "Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is anti-Christ." I John 2:22
