Your 18? How do your parents have a say in who you date then? If you are happy with this guy be with him dont let your parents ruin something good for you.. Your parents will come around when they see how happy you are with him... Maybe you should get your own place if your parents are so controlling at 18!

Yes-your parents have no say in your life-you are 18 years old and are responsible for your own decisions. You will end up hating yourself & your parents if you do not take this chance of hapiness-you only live once....go get him-he could be your soulmate

if you really do like him so much, yeah, why not? Get your man back. Then you have gotta convince your parents that u are truly happy with this guy. (ultimately, parents will be happy as long as their daughter or children are happy.) of coz, it may take a long time to prove to them u are happy with this guy. so juz hang in there and dun give up.
All the best!

hold on everyone, she has a point. but girl if ur parents allow u to date and have no problem with u doing so... then stand up for ur self. sit them down and ask them y they dont like him and - u have to see their points of veiw- they have a good reason think abt it, but if it is really cuz he aint cute then stand up for ur self, but be respectful , cuz they r ur parents and they brought u into this world and they can take u out of it.good luck love

I quit reading your question after I read the part about they think he is not cute enough for you. If that is true well they are so shallow. sorry but thats sad. If you like him and he is nice to you and he likes you then I would go out with him.I do think you are bit young for marriage but the rest is fine, dont listen to any one who tells you someone isn't cute enough that's just plain stupid,

sweetie youre 18 - thus legally old enough to make your own decisions and look ok - parents I know can be a pain in the backside but generally they only want whats best for their kids and to see them happy.
Maybe you could approach your parents and explain that he makes you feel special and you really love him, and why cant they accept it and let you live your life?
If they STILL refuse - threaten to cut ties with them and move out.
If they love you - the'll renigade and leave you two be,

Say your boyfriend to prove himself in front of ur parents because if he really loves you he will succeed. Try to talk with your parents on this matter and convince them all about your feelings about your boyfriend.

Is cute enough the only reason? I think there is more you are not telling us. If there is some good reason for your parent's objection listen to them.
