My grandma is having a birthday this weekend. What would be a nice (not expensive) present for her?

You want to give her something that she will actually use, and not something that will just take up space. Think about the sorts of things that your grandmother likes to do.

Does she like to write letters? Give her some pretty stationery, along with a book or two of postage stamps.

Does she like to garden? Give her some tools or plants for her garden?

Does she like movies? Give her a homemade certificate offering to treat her to a movie and popcorn, Or give her a gift certificate for a local movie rental place, along with a box of microwave popcorn.

Perhaps she'd like pretty scented lotions. Bath and Body Works has lots of different scents.

One thing that she would probably love is for you to write a letter to her telling her about why you love her so much. You could include a few stories about things the two of you have done together in the letter.

You didn't give any details about Grandma so here is a list of things that I would consider giving to my Grandma:

Pajamas
A bottle of her favorite wine
Picture of yourself (and siblings?) in a nice frame
Something that she collects, or something to display her collection (my G-ma does Hummels, so I have given her little shelves or platforms to display them on)
One year, we got all the grandchildren to get a picture of themselves against a blue backgrould and put all of them into one of those photo collage frames. Big hit.
Another time we got a book from Hallmark that was all about how important Grandmothers are, and it had open spaces for all of our family members to enter a story, a memory, or a thank you. Huge hit.
Lunch or Dinner at her favorite restaurant, or at home, you prepare her favorite meal, and share it with her.
It should be something that expresses your appreciation of her, or that lets her know that you remember the things that are important to her, one of her favorite things.
Good luck.

buy a big bulletin board (usually 10$) and stick photos of everyone in your family (all her grand children and her children) then decorate it and voila! you have a great present for grandma!

Well give her a card, with a little note that says you would like to take her to lunch and spend the day with her.

Get her a pot of plant. At least she can place it in her garden and she will think of you whenever she water it...
