While a light punch may stop the snoring for a few moments, you need to get the the root of the problem. Have your partner have a sleep study done - these are usually done in sleep clinics or hospitals. Snoring can be a sign of a problem like sleep apnea, which can be deadly. Then again, something as simple as a nasal strip may be all you need.

Have you tried telling your partner that her snoring is killing you. If you hadn't, do it! If you did, pay a revenge, get your partner to go to bed early and start snoring and see if your partner likes it.

You can't... sorry. But snoring can be a sign of other health problems that can be fixed and THEN the snoring will stop.

Is your partner overweight? That can cause snoring.

It is partly a guy pride thing. But it's also a reaction to the tears. We don't like to see you cry. And when you're crying because of the actions of some vindictive douche, we naturally want to lay a beating on him. It's an instinct to protect the people we love. But I do understand that it's not the best way to handle things, especially when there are kids involved and the aforementioned douche is their dad. All you can really do is recognize (as you have) that your ex is just pushing your buttons because he's miserable and he wants you to be as miserable as he is. You're not. Sounds like you have a great guy who supports you. Tell him that you're happy with him and that you're not going to let your ex get under your skin anymore. Leave your ex to his misery. You and your new man can choose to be happy together and, equally as important, show your child that you're happy! Good luck.

Ask them to see a doctor. Excessive snoring could be a sign of sleep apnea.

Get him to use Breathe-Right strips. They open his nasal passages and he shouldn't snore.

Good luck!

I know there are various therapies around, but the only thing that really helps is a corection of the airways, a small operation.
