No u dont have to meet in person u can talk on the internet the phone or that good stuff i think pesonaly u should not meet in person un less u have another person it may be me but i have had a bad time with one of my friends boyfreind is just an idiot so i hoped i helped.

I say yes its ok to know someone from over the net... but by all means , don't believe everything about a person over the net. If you really want to get to know someone, take the TIME to really get to know them, even then if/ when you meet face to face you may find out things you didn't know from over the net. ppl can be whoever they want to be over the net but face to face you get to know the real person.

There's no substitute for face to face meetings as I speak from experience. We hide so much about ourselves thanks to the anonymity provided by the internet that the person you think you know is almost -never- who they actually are. People lie, that's a known fact.

How can you know someone who can tell you nothing but lies about his age and marital status and whether he is a pedophile looking to meet young girls for sex. Be very careful and do not leave your parents in the dark.

You can't really know a person on the internet by chatting or e-mailing. You can only get to know him/her by spending time with him/her.

NEVER agree to meet in person if you dont have someone else with you.....People on the 'net dating sites, etc are typical liars...I dated 2 men I met on the 'net, and they BOTH lied...NEVER AGAIN...

on the net people could lie about themselves to make them look beeter, you can get to know them of what they want you to know on the net,so you can meet them on the net, but you should alsomeet them in person so you can see how they really are.
