Ok read these scriptures please and help me understand. 1 John 2:15-17. 1 John 2:6, 2Corinthians 6:17, 2 Corinthians 5:17. If we are to be like Christ and walk after his teachings, what if we fall away from his fellowship and walk back in the ways of our past. Does that mean Christ will disown us? Does that mean we are no longer his children?

God said King David was a man after God's own heart. David had sex with Bathsheba who was married. David had her husband killed in battle. But David seen the error of his ways and repented and his fellowship was renewed. The prodigal son who I believe was saved wanted his money now and left his father. He ran out of money and went to the pigs pen. That was the lowest place a jew could go. But he came back home and the Father received him back into fellowship. It was like he never left. When you was reading in 1 John did you see where in 1:8 it says- if we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. We are still in this earthly body which is capable of sin. Christ knows we can still go back to our old ways. But stay prayed up, and stay in God's word. When satan tempts us we should know enough of the bible to fight him off. Sin will take us away from the fellowship, not his grace.

The verses of John, and of 2 Corinthians 5:17 talk about being in Christ. When you repent of your sins, they are wiped out, as if they never happen. everything is new. when you walk in the way of Christ you have a new life, a new way of living in the flesh; you don't go back to the old ways of sinning.
the verse 2Corinthians 6:17 talks about the how it will be in the millennium, after Jesus comes again. The elect are with God, but if you want to teach one of the ones that didn't make it, you can go and teach them. the price for that is that you have to stay away from God for a period in order to be cleansed.

Dear not,

The beauty of the Passion of Christ is the forgiveness that was obtained through His death and resurrection. Keep coming back. Don't give up. We are all sinners. Read Jn 20:22-23 It's the second time in the whole Bible that God actually breathed on man. The first time was in Genesis (Adam).

Your brother in Christ,

Christ never disowns you. Christ loves you unconditionally even if you hate him. It's when your judgement day comes that if you did not follow him and believe in him that he can't let you into salvation. And you would be sent into hell...which isnt actually fire most likely its really just the absence of God which can make your soul burn for the fear it inflicts.

"Ascended" shows some thing that a individual actively does. that's God who takes up each and every individual to Himself. Jesus, being God, could have been the only guy to ascend. The others have been incapable of doing it themselves. And, Enoch exchange into taken via God as properly (as, i'm specific. you already be attentive to). The scriptures you cite continually look much less confusing in context than you elect them to look once you quote bits and products out of context.

Christ will never disown us. It is we that disown him. God loves us all equally. He has no favorites. It you and I that decide whether to include him in our lives. We are God's children as long as we want to be. If we fall away it is our decision and God must go by our decision. Its all about free will.

Jesus is fully aware that we are humans, stuck in the bondage of sin. He knows that the temptations of the world are too strong for man and that failure is pretty much our priority. Look at the apostles. How many of them, before Jesus died, did not stand up for Him?

He also knows what is truly in our hearts and that if for some reason we "fall away", as you put it, that we aren't giving up on the Lord, we are giving up on ourselves. He will not leave anyone who believes in Him behind. We are all his children.

No. we are imperfect and stumble from time to time.
It is unrepentent willfully practiced sin, we are not forgiven for.
Some sins whether we know it is a sin or not, ------we can be held accountable for.
Ignorance is not an excuse, so ardent Bible study is essential.
Keep it up Girl.

This is a fairy tale with lots of contradictions, as was changed to fit the masters of its time. Do yourself a favor, look for God on the right places and learn.
