It seems to me that the farm life and holiday house should be left for retirement. Right now is for their kids.
They should be thinking more about your lives as this is the only childhood you will have.

When you get older and are bombarded with communications from any and all directions, and people are in your way on the highway, and you can't walk a block without a crowd, and the mall is so packed that it takes 3 hours to do 30 minutes worth of shopping, you will look back fondly on the "holiday house" where it was quiet and secluded. Only boring people get bored, so even if you had the opportunity to interact, you'd probably bore your friends. Get creative, and instead of whining about where you are, embrace where you are. Find one thing positive every day, and hold on to that. You are going to need those skills when you are 42 and your spouse takes a walk. You'll be incredibly happy that you and your siblings have bonded under these circumstances.

This sounds more then the moving to the "holiday" house on the weekends. Isn't five days out of 7 available for social activities after the farm has had its looking after? Ask your parents, tell them how you feel.

WOW.... a 21st Century version of "But everyone in school is...."
Who'd a thought that Yahoo Answers could become another round of emotional ammunition for teenagers to blast at their parents....
Very Clever...
Now... let me see you are 14 and you have siblings and your family own a farm and a holiday house.... and your parents, in your opinion are are simply so selfish that they don't care about your social life and want instead to make you completely miserable by sharing their fortunate life with you and your siblings and now you want a whole bunch of total strangers on this message board to bag them out.... for.... ummm... Oh yeah.... caring about their kids and providing them with not one but two homes....
hmmmmmm Now hw does that work??

Your part of your parents lives, so until you are on your own, that's just life. You should be driving soon so when old enough get a job, a car, stay out of trouble and go socialize!

I'm sure none of this has to do with the chores you have to do while on the farm.
Look, you may want a social life, most people do, but if you have to wait until you're on your own, well that's just the way life is.
