Puting a label of a goat on these women is not a good thing, they are doing what they have been taught and it is what their religion says they have to do, I think it is anyway.

Look there are hundreds of different religions in the world, some believe it is ok to abuse children, others believe they have to kill people or animals to show their faith, the list goes on and on.

The muslim religion has coped a bashing from all different types of people over the last few years, maybe even longer and when you look at it there are actually probably more christians that do bad crap than muslims.

I am not a muslim but I do believe that they should be given a fair go just like everyone else is that is christian or one of the many other religions there is that are not coping a bashing 24/7....

Islam, which is muslims' religion, is the biggest religion in the world. There is over one billion muslims over the world, more then any other. It is ignorant to believe that all muslims are the same and act the same. Not all Christians act the same, so why would all the Muslims? Muslim women in Afganistant are maybe the most submisive ones, specifically the Taliban ones, however, many muslim women are Doctors, Lawyers, Teachers, Judges, Etc.... I am not a Muslim my self, however, an open mind is required to live in this world. Ignorance causes friction and hatred, just look what is happening around the world.....

That is very unfair to say. In many countries I agree the women do adopt these practices but that is a cultural legacy or more like a social ill. You are insinuating that these are teachings of Islam. I can asure you that nowhere in Islam this practice is endoctrinated instead I think it would be admonished as women and men are equals in Islam and no woman should allow herself to be treated second-graded. In fact utmost respect is given to women in Islam. It is easy to think this way as many countries professing to be Islamic are in fact very far from it. This is a very wrong practice and should not exist in any fair society. Therefore I wouldn't say muslim women as that is a wrong title. That practice does not reflect a muslim believer.
