Yes all things should pass away. All the forum things which was sin. For some it may take a little longer for them to let go of some sin, but it will soon pass away. If the Holy Spirit lives in you trust me all that sin will not stay in there. Not saying we still will not sin. 1 John 1:10- If we say we have not sinned we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Yes. Salvation is in three parts. When you are saved, your spirit is "born again". It becomes brand new and all the old things in it pass away. It has a perfect relationship with God and desires only Him.
Unfortunately, the spirit is attached to the soul (which is made up of your mind, your will and your emotions). Those do not immediately change. They have to learn and grown, and be renewed daily. That is a lifetime long process of maturing and growing in the things of God.
And finally, the spirit and soul reside within the body, with its needs, wants, desires and limitations. We have to deal with those for a lifetime also. But in the end, the soul and the body will also be totally transformed and redeemed.

Is not my intention to disrespect your religion believes or anything... but just keep in mind that everything in this world have a consequence, no matter what. So there are no sins, no good or bad, just consequences to what we do, and those consequences could be possitive or negative, according to the previous action. Is just very logical, and logic and spirituality should match.
So when you stop having a negative behave, and stop harming other beings in any way, then of course you "become saved", and things will be different in your life. But things won't change just because you or anyone say so. You have to do or stop doing "actions" in order to receive the right consequences that you want.
Bible, as any other holy scripture, could guide people to big missunderstandings, so is dangerous to just read it, and try to understand it the way another group of people wanna understand it. You need to have your own criteria and use your logic, your own wisdom to understand, not just "borrowed wisdom". You already have all the answers inside.

and then the rest of the verse says, "and behold, all things are new" so it means not everything actually passes away, but that you have a new take on everything, you don't see, smell, hear, taste things the same way you used to--it's all brand new again! have u ever had that feeling like "it's a brand new day" type feeling? and when you're saved, you have the cleansing where everything that had been charged against you as sin is now forgiven, so of course we have the feeling that all things have passed away and everything is brand new!

A believer's life should change, because he or she is being transformed into the likeness of Christ(2Cor 3:18). Instead of living for oneself, a believer lives for Christ (2Cor 5:15). Instead of evaluating otherswith the values of the world, a believer looks at this world through the eyes of faith(2Cor 5:16)

Look at Ephesians 4:22-23, and Romans 12:1-2.

Yes, you can be made "new." But Being made new requires a TRANSFORMATION. Transformation is a PROCESS, not a single event. It takes time, effort, and patience.
