I had to put my dog Buffy, to sleep a little over 2 weeks ago. She had bladder cancer and could no longer pee. I had her creamated and now have the ashes in a beautiful little urn in my bedroom. Every night since I've received the ashes back, there is a puddle of "water" in the middle of the kitchen floor. I swear, I think it is Buffy telling me that she is ok now....that she is peeing again. I know it sounds ridiculous, but there is literally no explanation as to where this puddle is coming from. The sink isn't leaking; neither is the fridge (my husband checked both). Has anyone every experienced anything like this after dealing with the loss of a pet? I'm serious about this, so no crazy answers please!

Not exactly your expierience, but we had seen allot, we had to put our cat to sleep, and she knew it when we took her in, we saw her under our feet while we were in the back yard,( actually grbbed a rope that we were holding!), it is the place she loved the most, we first thought it was a squirrell and then we looked and saw nothing by our feet! Many times she came to us, even felt the bed move, yes, we are adults, 51 and 53. We are not silly folks either. We know what we saw and felt, also, our Dog, died early, and we heard her nails and collar,We heard and saw, for a long time, we can't forget neither of them. Your Baby is fine. She is relieved now and don't want you to feel any guilt, Your Baby knows how you feel and she is no longer in pain. She wants you to know this. Before we had to take our 17 year old baby in, wierd things happened right before, a phesant came and layed in our garden a few feet from us and other things happened too and we live in the city, a polluted city.
So talk to her,as we do our babies that went with angels, just say, 'I love You and miss you". She knows and will rest peacefully. We are sorry for your loss. God Bless. Hammond, In.

Not the loss of a pet as you describe, but the gaining of one that left me absolutely puzzled. After my father's burial, my mother and sisters were making their way back to the funeral cars. As the door was opened for my mother, a black dog ran across the church yard and jumped in before her. My mother, who was very superstitious, left him there and they all made their way back home. When they came to the family home, the dog jumped out, ran straight into the house and jumped into my father's favourite armchair. My mother did not say anything, and as we all knew what she was thinking, also kept quiet. That dog, Blackie, she called him, lived with my mother for about ten years until her death. Fact is stranger than fiction and you have my word that this story is true....................

Baba Ramdev and Anna Hazare have caught the mind's eye of the country. If any untoward could take place to them (may well be a real twist of destiny), public could accuse the government. So this is now common.

Sounds like you're right, she is letting you know she made it to the other side & is pain free. Yes I've had many experiences like this. After my chow/spaniel was put down due to old age, I felt her jump on the bed with me several days later. Animals do have souls & those souls, just like people, will come back to let us know they made it & are alright. And to thank us for freeing them from the pain.

I'd like to believe this, I really would. It would answer so many questions about the human-pet connection.

Sorry to learn about your loss. I found this a few years ago and it really made me feel better when my dogs passed away.

I have never experienced anything like that, but some of my family has. My grandmother passed away back in 1985 and on several occasions her my mother and aunt say they have smelled her perfume and they believe she is watching over them. You will always find skeptics and people who try to disprove such things though.

Set up a video camera to record in the kitchen to record through the night. That way, you will know what is going on. You never know what you might see. I would be too curious not to!

That's pretty odd, but I don't think it's a message from your dog. I'd sit up one night and see if it happens again while you're watching.
