Instead of "apocalypse," you may have meant Armageddon, the final battle between Jesus Christ and Satan's world order. There are so many events that must occur before Armageddon, so I don't think we should view it as being imminent.
Events such as the Rapture of the church; the fulfillment of Ezekiel 38 and 39; the rise of the Antichrist; the adoption of a New World Order (i.e. centralized government) and the rise of Mystery Babylon / The Whore of Revelation, etc., all need to occur. After Eze. 38 and 39 are fulfilled, the remainder of these events will all happen over a seven year period called the Tribulation; however, we don't know the length of time there will be between Eze. 38/39 and the Tribulation. Conceivably, it could be several years.
If you're saved, pray our redemption will happen soon; if you're unsaved, give your life to Him today! You absolutely DO NOT want to live through the Tribulation.

Al quaida has just called for a holy war against Israel. God told Israel "I will bless those that bless you, and I will curse those that curse you".
The apocalypse is coming soon. But first look for someone to unite all religions. This guy will unite the world and all religions and call for peace. He will sound really convincing, but he will be the anti-Christ.
