Need pressing oil that, after pressing kinky ethnic hair, will make hair resistant to swelling or reverting in humid, damp weather conditions.

For pressing hair you want to use a creme press, designed for pressing. Dudley has one that is superb, also try the Avlon line, if you are not a professional then sallys has a creme press by Soft Sheen but it is a little oily. When using the dudley, just get about a quarter sized amount and rub together in your hands first and then rub throughout the hair. Most people oil sections at a time which makes the hair too oily. You want a natural press, not a greasy mess............ LOL Good luck OH Yeah, Dudley is sold at most Smartstyles and you don't have to be a professional to but it.

Look into the "profectiv" line. they have great products. i use their megagrowth formula and my hair retains moisture so well, especially when using heat. walgreens, target & kmart usually carry their entire line or you can stop by the strengthofnature.com website and have a look at all they offer. it's one of the best products on the market and recommended in quite a few ethnic hair care forums. i have mixed hair and most oils are either too heavy or too lite and dry out very quickly. i haven't found anything better than this & it smells so good. check out their line of hair oils and see which one meets your needs.

Carrot oil is good, I've even used it on my cat to prevent her hair from matting. But Profectiv is probably the best.
