I don't personally know any Buddhist Christians. The main thing I see in Buddhism that is incompatible with Christianity is that Buddhism claims enlightenment comes from within. Christianity claims wisdom and maturity come from pursuit of and obedience to God. Also, Buddhism has no need of a Savior, which is incongruous with Christianity.

While there are some similarities and some ways in which they could be equally adhered to, they are at least in that respect incompatible.

I don't know if other forms of theism are compatible with Buddhism or not.

If you choose to ingnore the Christian liars above me who believe that the Christian faith holds the exclusive copyright on God,

the answer as far as I know is 'yes'. Buddhism is by nature non-theistic, which means that the existence of gods does not enter directly into their belief system. As has been said, Buddhism is compatible with other religions and I believe that you can be a practising Buddhist whether you believe in one god, many gods or no god at all.

In my opinion, there is no God as in a supreme BEING. For me God is something that's within us all, God is the ultimate truth, God is just the entire creation itself but God is not SOMEONE with a long white beard. It's a concept or just the way. It is what it is. I think the concept of God is a very obscure, twisted and misunderstood idea. Some religions claim only they have a way to God. What a ridiculous and stupid idea! We are all equally entitiled to know and experience God (again, it's not a BEING) no matter what religion you belong to or whether or not you have any religious connection. Buddhism appeals me the most because it's more realistic and focuses on knowing oneself. There is no yes or no answer for your question. I think it depends on what's your definition for God.

Anyone can "belive in God", but the problem is that the Bible tells us that even the demonds belive and tremble. the belife in God wont save you, having a head knowledge of his existence is not enough. when you and I die, there will be a day of Judgement, the Bible tells us that every thought, wprd, and deed will be brought to light. the Ten Commandments will be God's standard of righteousness, so let's look at a few to see how you will do on Judgement day.

Have you ever lied (even once--fibs, white lies, etc.)? Ever stolen (anything--the value is irrelevant)? Jesus said, "Whoever looks upon a woman to lust after her, has committed adultery already with her in his heart." Have you ever looked with lust? If you have said "Yes" to these three questions, by your own admission, you are a lying, thieving, adulterer at heart; and we’ve only looked at three of the Ten Commandments.
What a shock! Nothing you’ve ever done is hid from His holy eyes. Will you be innocent or guilty on the Day of Judgment? Listen to your conscience. You know that you will be guilty, and the Bible says if God gives you justice according to your sin, you could end up in Hell. That’s not God’s will. He provided a way for you and I to be forgiven.
He sent His Son to take our punishment: "God commended His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." He was bruised for our iniquities. Jesus then rose from the dead and defeated death.
Your own so-called “goodness” can’t get you into heaven any more than mine could. Jesus is the only way to Heaven. He is the "Door," the only "mediator." There is salvation in no other name, so pray something like this: "Dear God, I repent of all of my sins (confess them). This day I put my trust in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Please forgive me and grant me your gift of everlasting life. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen."

From what I understand, the answer would be no. I believe Buddhists believe in a collective consciousness. According to them, when we die, we become part of the collective consciousness. I do not think they believe in a supreme being.

Buddhism is a religion, and a very important part of following a religion is believing in God.

Yes... check out Houston Smith... he studied and practises all of the religions of the world. amazing guy who's books are used by many schools as text books for comparative religion courses.

I've read one of his book and seen a documentary on him. fascinating!

By the way, we as Muslims believe Jesus and Buddha both came from the same God... both with the same message essentially, but told differently to two different peoples and cultures.

Buddhism is compatible with other religions, so yes. Ninety percent of Japanese folks will tell you they are both Buddhist and Shinto, and there's plenty of gods in Shinto.

You can believe in God, but you don't get the full benefit of his existence unless you take advantages of his promises (which are in the Bible). He is God so some of his promises are without exception and some are conditional.
