What would be the best way to get a cheat to confess without involving anyone else?

if you know he is cheating on you, why do you need his confession?
if you know he is cheating on you, no amount of evidence will convince you otherwise - no matter how innocent he is.
the trust is gone - you are simply burning yourself up uselessly in this relationship.
trust is not earned in any relationship worth the effort; trust is a gift.

Create a new email address and send a message from there indicating that you (a fictitious person) knows about the affair. If you know who with then add the name. Say that unless HE confesses to you(the real you) then you will let the real you know.

I really AM surprised nobody's come up with the 'banana' joke so far, so I won't spoil it for them. On a more serious note, I think it's all down to the old adage of giving them enough rope. That way they don't just slip up, they hang themselves too!

I got caught once (don't do it any more) by the names of telephone numbers being changed on my phone. Change the name of a fit person or some one they would cheat with on the phone to yours and visverser them keep texting him until he say some thing he will regret!

Ask just ask if u know this person u'll know if they fibbin or not ..
but if u want them to slip up then keep a secret diary of where they supposed to have been and who with .. give a few weeks then ask them about one of their outings .. or get them drunk .. peeps always talk when they had a few ..good luck

FontofNoKnowledge has a good idea. Well, you could also say you are going away, and then just stay close by and see if they meet up. However, not everyone's girlfriend lives close by. Some are actually long distance, long term extra marital relationships.

very very easy" just pretend you trust him/her absolutely, then the cheat will relax and will make several stupid mistakes like calling the other cheap cheater while you are supposedly in the "bathroom" or "sleeping"
