Oh Yes!

Canon has struck gold with this winning combination of high-quality and low price. The A620 offers users outstanding image quality with robust performance, all in a stylish and very durable package. With its wealth of exposure modes, your entire family will love using it, and with 7-megapixels of resolution you can create endless 13x19-inch prints (just be sure you have lots of ink handy.) With an MSRP of around $399, the Canon PowerShot A620 offers an excellent value. If you love this camera as much as I do, but don't need the 7.1-megapixels of resolution or the ability of remote capture, check out its 5-megapixel twin brother, the PowerShot A610. It is almost identical in features with a price tag of about $100 less.

Get the A620. Its a great camera....so yes, it is worth it. The LCD screen has got to be the best thing about this camera (besides image quality).

And yes,it seems that Soulroute DID copy the exact words from Steves Review. Maybe a link would have sufficed?
Thanks to Registrations001 for bothering. Those two sites are very good. I am adding another good one...

Yes if you looking camera with 1/1.8 inch CCD sensor (folks say the bigger the sensor the better for low light taking (says:indoor taking), its rarely now days find pocket camera with that size of ccd sensor, even then newest A700 come with 1/2.5 inch.
Another plus point is this camera come with full manual mode(apperture priority, shutter priority, and manual mode) so you can get more flexibility with this camera. But if you don't care about the megapixels, get the A610, it comes with more light sensitive CCD sensor, and lowest price(if you can still get it nowdays) ^_^ cheers

Wow, Soulroute's response is almost EXACTLY the same as the conclusion at Steve's Digicams. Here's the link if you want to read the rest of the in-depth review.
