Fruit is actually a bit high in calories. Don't get me wrong...a bowl of chips or adding fruit to other ingredients to make a smoothie are worse than the fruit itself. A serving of fruit, for example, would be a 1/2 of a banana. Yes, believe it or not you shouldn't be eating a whole banana and if you do you have to make sure you count it as two servings. Eating too much fruit will not kill you and I do not believe a smoothie is harmful but if you are really concerned about your calories look up the chains food guides on line. Besides running to the bathroom 100 times a day I don't think if u eat a lot of fruit anything major will happen.

A smoothie is not quite fruit. If you eat only fruit and nothing else, that is too much but if most of your diet is fruit, that is OK even if not ideal. Eating after other foods will cause problems. Eat on empty stomach.

Too much fruit isn't particularly harmful for healthy people but it does contain allot of sugar so if weight loss is the goal she should eat vegetables. The sugar in fruit is called fructose.Too much fructose can induce diarrhea. There may be other issues but it depends on the individual.

I don't know about what serious medical effects it could have, but what I do know is that too much fruit will give you a serious case of the squits.

NO; Excess of everything is bad.Word"too much" itself indicates that you can not. Storage of excess energy leads gaining excess weight. You may however take plenty of raw vegetables without any harm.
