It's common to find parfait in the states, however as the name indicates, it's originally a french dessert.

A layered dessert in a tall glass. You can either do it with fruits and yogurts or with icecreams and toppings. Good stuff. Parfait

It is called a Parfait.It can be made with ice cream or yogurt.It has layers of yogurt and fruit and whatever other dessert items you would like to put in.Just a layered dessert basicly.
