Without knowing your age and the type of nightmares, advice can be difficult to give.
Gaining control over one's dreams seems like an impossible thing to most people, but it is not. Some cultures emphasize dream control to a great extent.
Being chased by a monster or ravenous animal is a very common nightmare. The idea is to face the animal or monster and kill it. An alternate technique taken from Jungian psychology is to ask it its name and what it wants.
I used to be chased by bears all the time. I found out through Jungian psychology that bears represent the angry mother. Once I realized this, the bear dreams went away.
Dreams are complex. Sometimes they are full of symbolism, and sometimes they are just the events of the day getting rehashed.
The topic is worth studying.

First of all turn your face to GOD and a little prayer.
Second ,made a balance between reality and nightmare and check the real cause ;see why you are afraid and fight yourself against the fear.
Third, take care about nutrition and delete all that could give you a bad digestion;add for dinner a relaxing- tea or milk with honey.
and trust in GOD ANGELS and GOODNESS
