How many times do men have to ask this?! Look, get this- this is what bras are for:
1. Support. Even if they're small- it's very unhealthy to, let's say, run and have breasts violently moving a lot. Why? So that we don't let are breasts "get into harm".
2. Depending on the outfit, most women who have a good level of modesy and manners, wear a bra so that he cleavage won't show.
3. Sometimes, it's pretty ridiculous, but a bra is used as a sign of being mature. Like, an eleven year old girl who may be slightly starting to develop a chest may want to wear a bra for a sign of growing up and not being a little girl anymore. Or, in other words, to show off growing up.
DON'T FORGET THIS PLEASE!! Tired of boys/men asking this... of course, you could be some sicko trying to be stupid, so then all I have to say is: stop being sick and stupid, you pervert!
Thanks for reading either way- I'm sure it brought some sense in that head of yours.

If you have big boobs, you wear a bra to support them. Otherwise, it's painful, above all when you walk down the stairs or when you run. Also, it prevents them from sagging too fast.
For small boobs, it's necessary to wear a bra for them not to sag. I don't often wear a bra, but sometimes I do and I find that at the end of the day, they don't sag. But I like not to wear a bra because it's more comfortable.
Of course, exercising is the best way to keep them up, but it depends on your skin as well.

Only about half of the women in the world wear bras. So they really do not have to wear them. No ! Wearing a bra does not prevent sagging breasts. The only things that will prevent sagging breasts are silicone implants or early death.
Many women , that I know here in Asia wear a bra to hide their nipples. They think it is impolite to go around pointing at people. But they have very small, firm breasts that really need no support.
Women that exercise need to wear a sports bra to support them. If they do not wear one, there breasts will be sore and exercise will be a painful experience for them.

Well, nobody's making us, but bras are meant mostly for supporting your breats, not for etiquette reasons (not as far as I'm concerned anyway). You see, the muscles supporting the breasts are elastic and not very strong, therefore, in order not to become saggy, breasts need extra support. Otherwise, gravity will take its tole faster in that area than in any other part of the body, and that would be a damn shame.
Another reason would be wanting to make the breats look more supple and bigger (in the case of push-up bras).
When you HAVE to wear a bra, it's usually under a very thin or transparent garment worn in public, because it's not appropriate to present youself at a job interview, for example, looking like you just came out of a porn movie (I'm exagerating now, but you get the picture).

Women have to wear bras to give their breasts support. Otherwise gravity takes a toll on their boobs and they sag with time. A good bra supports the mammary glands comfortably and gives them shape as well.
Well, okay, you don't HAVE to wear them, but I think most women who live in the city wear them nowadays.
But if you go to Micronesia, some parts of Polynesia, Africa, Melanesia, even some parts of South America and Asia where tribal groups live, a lot of women go topless.
For example, here is my favorite picture of a Himba girl--I think you'll see why. The Himba people are a nomadic group that lives in Namibia, in the African continent. They smear red ochre on their bodies, making the women shine a beautiful red, almost golden color. The men and women go topless, and they wear a leather--or leatherlike loincloth as their only clothing--aside from headdresses and necklaces. I studied anthropology at UCLA.

I don't think this maiden needs a bra--what do you think?
By the way, the Himba women of Namibia are considered among the most beautiful in the world--in part because of the radiance they give with their red ochre, which also smoothens their skin and protects them from the sun.

First, they don't have to, but most women look better, according to American taste, if they do.
Most women's clothing is made to be worn with a bra. A properly fitted bra can make a world of difference in how a woman looks in her clothes.
A supportive bra can also protect breast tissue.
Finally, wearing a properly fitted bra is much more comfortable for a busty woman than going without. If your bra is uncomfortable, you're not wearing a properly fitted bra.

Recent studies that were done in France and Japan have concluded that bras are actually bad for a women's health. Wearing a bra increases a women's chance of breast cancer, and makes breasts sag faster than women who went braless. I have realized that bras are not a necessity, and have now ditched my bra.

They don't, there was a whole "anti-bra" movement a few decades ago. But simply put....for larger-busted women, going without a bra during a busy day can be like well like getting smacked in the face with 2 small hams all day long. : ) It's all about SUPPORT!!!

Some women don't really need a bra. But for those of us who do, believe me, it's just too painful to go without.

Trust me the world is a more beautiful, less cranky and wonderfully uplifting place because of bras.
