He most defiantly didn't think you two can be together, but if you really like him and think he is the one don't let pride get in the way, try and try again till you know for certain there is absolutely nothing you can say or do to win him. At least then you won't look back and say why didn't i try a bit harder, and it will be much easier to get over him if he keeps rejecting you, cause then you will probably he is not the one for you after all. More importantly if does work out you will have much more confidence in your self, cause you made some one like you after he wasn't that interested in you. Hope this helps ;)

Don't. It's one way of saying. . . we dont click, and no use wasting time. If there are reasons that he was not able to call and still interested, he'll do so. Dont, put yourself into an embarassment of pursuing him. He is not worth it, and you wont be happy anyway knowing that you've done the pursuing.

No. As a personal rule, I never call men. I call my partner back, and I have to call my ex husband because we have a child, but in this case esp., do not call him. He was just being polite.

No, don't call him back. He said it in a nice phrase for telling you, "I am not interested". Read the non-verbal communication that he is giving you, its negative.
