I keep dobermans and i went through the same thing, nothing could be left on the floor because it would be destroyed, even the dog beds were ripped to shreds including some wooden furniture. At that age they are still very young and all they want to do is get into mischief, but you must still be firm and let them know whos boss.My dobe is 5yrs old now and shes perfect in every way.I would give your dog a little time and he/she should grow out of it,but if you feel you really cant take anymore then speak to a dog behaviourist Good luck.

Does he have a reason to jealous of anyone or anything? A Doberman has the need to be top dog and can be very possessive. You have let to him know who is boss as Doberman have pecking orders. Dog training classes will help enormously, but take him sooner rather than later, as his behaviour will wear you down and you may decide to find a new home for him which would be sad for all concerned.
Happy Dog Training Days.

Having had a Doberman I can sympathise, you need to be exceedingly firm with him from day 1, they will try to dominate your house & its inhabitants especially women.
Take him to obediance lessons, but that only seemed to work while he was there as he was crap scared of the trainer, hence catch 22 you need to assert your pack status at day 1 with your pup.
Don't dispair you can slowly rehabilitate him, I say he if it is a he get him snipped as soon as possible this will help also.

perhaps get one of those dog crates.. and keep him crated up when your not home?
if not make sure he has plently of toys to chew.. while your not around..
(i am assuming the destroying takes place while your not with him)
if you can get away from work a few times to just go and check in on him.. i know it might be hard.. perhaps if its hard maybe have a friend or a neighbour peek in.. make sure he's alright and not destroying stuff

You need to tire your puppy out. make sure he has lots of toys to play with. also your at the stage where they teething too. And get a crate. when you cant supervise your puppy should be in there. but make it a very good place, not for punishment. give him lots of treats and toys when he or she is in there. my dogs loves his crate and goes in there most of the time just sleep and relax.
