Dating someone you work with is bad, bad, bad. Think ahead. If it doesn't work out, how will you manage a working relationship on the job? Many have tried, few succeed. It just causes stress and strain not to mention the added stress and strain if details get out and circulate around the office. It's never a good idea to date someone you work with. She sure doesn't sound like she's giving you signals that she's interested in you either. Why not play it safe and just share a lunch break at work with her to see if she's even interested. Maybe invite her to walk with you on lunch or something. If she accepts, then you might have a better idea. But if it were me...I'd forget it. Seen this too many times. Somebody always winds up having to quit the job to get away from the mess they created.

The best moment to ask for a date is on a staff party, if you have one. Because people are relaxed there. But if have not any parties, just be confident in yourself. You can send flowers with the card with the pruposal(if i is a woman), or go straight to her and ask! Women like confident men!

Find out if people from work go out as a group. No need to rush into a one on one thing, this is a new job for you and her, settle into your job and let her settle into hers before you start to complicate the work place.

u could ask her if she would like to go get a drink after work, or if neither drinks ask her for some help on a project or assignment and see if anything happens from there. chemistry.
