There are several ways to answer that. First of all, trials create perseverance and create a stronger person. Some people say they are tests but I don't know about all that. Also, it's easy to believe in God when everything is going your way. Read the book of Job and really think about it. When you are close to God you are a target. Most people don't believe in spiritual warfare but think about it. If you are the devil and someone doesn't believe in God, you have them where you want them. Are you going to cause conflict in their life and drive them to the other side? Or are you going to let them sail and focus on the ones you have no grasp on?

Why? How else are you going to build a characteristic if it's not challenged or exercised? They aren't test, they are the same things people go through all over the world. But as Christians, it's our opportunities to give more than lip service, it's our opportunity to give true faith and heart service to what we believe. It takes practice, but once you realize that you don't have to forge the path ahead, that God already has the path forged, you just have to follow the Shepherd's voice, then you realize when it's hard in life, if you just keep listening, you know exactly which way the Shepherd went and you can follow. I was 14 years into my relationship with the Lord figuring out that I was making Christianity awfully hard for myself by thinking that the Shepherd herded from behind - but he doesn't, he leads. It doesn't have anything to do with our goodness - it has to do with our willingness to be who he wants us to be, not who we selfishly want him to approve of us being. And if we never had troubles, would we rely on Him? Why would we need too? Worries is what keeps us relying on the only one who can truly make a difference in our lives and teach us valuable lessons.

Hi Ria,
Ever heard of the theory of Karma... It's like a balance sheet... the profit and loss being carried forward. The good is the profit and the bad are your losses from your previous business (birth) :)
Try some search on above will lead you to better understanding of life....
Good Day

God may allow testing to occur in our lives (see Job), but that does not mean He is specifically causing us harm. Because we live in a world filled with sin, and because people have free will, we will continually be challenged with difficulties. Keep in mind that God will not allow us to experience anything that he does not provide us the strength to endure.

no worry,I'll try answering your question..
when you are on the edge of a cliff and pushed from the back , then one of the two things can happen..one you will learn to fly and if you do not learn to then God will teach you to fly....

Be careful in blaming God for testing people. It could be Satan's hand in it or it could be the person acting unwisely and causing the trouble for themselves.

It's not about faith. It about how you go about in your life. What makes you think that good people got more "test" in life that "bad" people?..... Maybe the "bad" people knows how to tackle their problems. Don't use faith as reasonsing to your mishap or problem. Which living thing on earth does not experience "Bad things"

i think you just answered your own question. You think God is going to wanna take interest in bad people? He's more likely to take interest to good people. its a way of seeing what they would do and handle things in certain situations. i wondered this same question everyday as i saw both my grandmothers suffering and both are like angels to me. its nothing against good people, its just a way of coming up with ways of dealing with them

I believe God only gives you what he knows you can handle. If he gives you alot of tests he must think you are a strong spirit.
