Will they change into it when they play away and the team they're playing against wears predominantly, er, white?

Surely a team that has a mainly white home strip shouldn't have a white away strip. I went on the website and they don't even list last season's green and gold one.

This seems like a horrifically unsubtle ploy to get Irish Euros spent on some pointless trico-kit. Hold on, is this setting us up for the launch of a new strip later in the season when Celtic play away against Real Madrid?

I thought Rangers were unethically opportunistic when they released an orange kit and then a bastardisation of the 2001-2003 England shirt sporting a Union Jack, but this, though not in the same league, is pretty bad.

Couple of things...

I doubt Celtic wanna wear a similar kit to England. Surely no team would do that... (see above)

I actually like the kit too, but I just don't think there was any need for it. And surely they could just use the home shorts and socks. Or would that not make them more money?

Not 100% sure why Celtic have changed to a white away kit but one of the reasons could be to let other teams know that they are going to surrender just like they did with Manchester United or it could be that they want to wear a kit the same as the mighty England?.

Celtic changed to white as it's the same colour as toilet paper, and all good teams like Rangers need something to wipe their *** with. What better than a beloved Celtic shirt. I'm sure it'll be the same quality as celtic, and be as rough as sandpaper, and leave your *** sore and sorry. Perhaps Celtic fans could use it to wipe the **** that come out of their mouths. I'm a genius, and found another use for it. A bib, so that Celtic fans can wipe their own dribble and **** that come from their mouth. Ha ha ha. I'm hilarious! No wonder, I support Rangers!

This isn't the first time Celtic have used white for their away kit. So, I don't know why it's such a surprise....

I support the Bhoys no matter what colour their strip is, it could be f*cking rainbow coloured for all I care. C'mon the Hoops!!!

Celtic can wear any colour (apart from orange & blue) they like, and true tims will always support them. I say they should wear all green tops and shorts, with white socks, next time they meets the huns.- mon the hoops

I can honestly admit they should have stuck with the black.

Black and Green maybe? Pure original and never looks bad and shouldn't with the Nike make of it.

White just like collaborates with the Green & White Hoops doesn't it? With a touch of gold ...

Not good, should have stuck with black.

Its purely about fleecing supporters, teams shouldn't be allowed to sell 3rd strips. A second strip completly different in colour is enough.

because nike have took over the contract to make the kits therefore they have changed the look of the strip (also the new home top is not hoops anymore it is vertical stripes)
