Sometime when i put my pencil or anything on my pencil case. Then i zipped it. Suddenly have a mind. Did i put my pencil? Then i check again. "Oh my pencil is there". So i zipped my pencil case. Then suddenly have a mind of did i put my ruler? so i check. Then later i zipped it and thinking "did i put my ruler?" Sometime i also put my IC on my wallet then later on thinking did i put it inside?
Then i put inside my pocket then later thinking of "Hey my IC is inside?". Then went to take my wallet and check. and then repeat.
It is a disease or an habit?? im quite confused

You sound very much like someone with OCD...my son and sister suffer from this, and it can be very debilitating....the checking is a good indication, my poor sis can't leave the house until she has checked to see if all the lights are off, over and over again. My son, his has taken the course of hypochondriac. There is a fantastic pill, luvox, which my son will take for the rest of his Life. Did you know that Howard Stern also said he had OCD, and did the checking rituals also? Please, go talk to a proffessional, and do not suffer mentally because it could get worse. And the good news is, you can work and control it so easy now. Good luck sweetheart

Let's reason this out. How many times when you recheck something you are in doubt about, that you find it was all right? So based on that fact, when the urge to recheck comes upon you, don't do it. I was at work as usual and suddenly I had a thought that I might not have turned off my truck's headlights. The urge to go outside was strong. So I thought on it and didn't remember even turning the lights on while I drove. Still the urge was insistent. I ignored the urge and finally got distracted by my work. At the end of the day I went out to my truck to drive home and the lights were not on. The urge was false. You can always tell a true urge versus a false one, because in the false one you always think you did do what the urge says you didn't, but you're not sure. A true urge hits you without these ambivalent thoughts. Oh my gosh I forgot to do this or that. The false is iffy; the true is clear.

Sounds a bit like you are being distracted from what you are doing, by the many things you have going thru your mind constantly.. Perhaps if you concentrate on just what you are doing at that moment, you will satisfy that urge to get the mind busy again.
The same thing happens to insomniacs.. they just can't get the mind to shut down.

to me, its sound like you are having obessive-complusive disorder (OCD). because you mentioned that you will do it more than 10times. for normal people, if they are worried, the most they will check up to 3 times. i believe this problem has already make you work flow very slow because you will be stuck in 1 place checking your things over and over again.
i think its best for you to talk to you go regarding this. because what you said here is kinda of limited. let your gp examine you and remember to follow his instruction.

Hey i dont think your mentally ill. I just think you need to relax before your condition turns pathologic. Try meditating or something. There are relaxation techniques you could try out to keep your mind of that stuff. Try it you can make it

You are over careful with your stuff and it seem you don't want to lose even the smallest of your belongings. sorry to say but your world revolves around your items if you think of the that often. this is a habit you have to kill.

Sounds like a problem that most of us have one time or another. It happens to me more often when I'm pre-occupied with other matters. Work on that...
