I believe you are taken a cat for wrong reason.
If it's in order to take mouse, it must be an outdoor cat.
If a cat get all it's food at the house, he will only play with the mouse, and maybe kill it in dooing so, but it will not hunt for it.
A outdoor cat don't need litter, because it's out, the same goes for the bed.
If it is in order to have company, the cat is a warm companion.
Be sure to keep the litterbox clean, and it will use it. Normally for inndoors cat the mother train them in this. Therfore never take away a kitten before it's 10-12 weeks old.
For the bed, have the bedroom door shut, and don't invite it in even if it make a bit noise at first.
You must put up the border and be firm with them, don't blame the cat if you aren't consistent.
This must you and your boyfriend have clear before you get one, or you both are bound to loose
Remember a cat has a mind and feelings, I have owned them for more than 40 years:)

Put the kitten in the litter box so it knows where it's at. There, it should be trained. That's usually all there is to it. As for the bed, can you keep the door closed? If not just be diligent and when the kitten gets up there, tell it NO and take it off. I too am allergic to cats and we have four. As long as I wash my hands and arms and change clothes after handling the cats I have no problem. It's when I forget that I suffer for it.

I have a 6 month old cat and we never had any problems house breaking her. We literally just put her in the kitty litter and she never did her business anywhere else.
When it comes to not jumping up on certain furniture it's a bit trickier. Be consistent, it can never be allowed, not even once. Be patient, always use the same command, like no. This was difficult in my house. I had to try to explain to my boyfriend that the cat does not understand. Don't go there, but it does understand the command no. A spray water bottle can be very useful to reinforce your command in a non physical way.
But I would really think twice before getting a cat if you have an allergy. Talk to your doctor first. Remember a cat can live for 15+ years.
Good luck

Do not get a cat if you are, one, allergic to them and two, have a reserved attitude toward having one in the first place.
Both of those reasons will turn into a unavoidable future problem.
That would be little more than plain stupidity.
It will only be a matter of time before you will be forced to find your pet a home causing you and the animal needless trauma.
Although to judge the way your question is worded it would appear you have already taken on one problem in an attempt to solve another.
Good luck with that thinking.
All that aside, put down a litter box and gentlely place your kitten in it just to feel it. Kittens are amazingly smart and will quickly identify it as a place it can easilily bury it's waste in.
If you expect your cat to use it, keep the box clean.
Try imagining your having to return to your toilet time after time without flushing. How's that for a picture?
As far as not having your pet getting on your bed what has worked best for us is putting down something we wore and is either destined to the wash or being discarded for your pet to sleep on.
As a tool to enforce a gentle form of desciplinery coaxing we have found to be very successful, is, a spray bottle of plain water used as a water pistol. It has worked wonders for us.
I hope I've helped and that things work out ok for you and your allergies. Cat's (two are actually better, especially if you both work. They keep each other company) can be truely great pets.
Good Luck.

My dear, you don't need to train a kitten to use kitty litter, just show them, or set them in their clean litter box, and that's it, that kitty is trained! By the way that kitten wants to sleep with you! It will bring YOU the mice, if you are nice. They will set them on your bed, after biting off the head. No,no,no,just kidding but a cat wants to be more than just a mouse trap, you have a new member to your family, and your cat will expect to be treated as such. Cat's are people too!

There isn't really any specific thing you can really do except show them the litter box and s/he goes somewhere else put it in the litter box so that the litter smells like s/he. Most cats will pick it up on their own eventually be patient. Hope it all works out.
