Here's a "what if" Question for you to ponder.?

The world is overpopulated by people, Fact.
Man has no natural enemies ( apart from himself ) Fact.
New diseases come up all the time to control the population but we learn to cure them.

Homosexuality is (mostly ) genetic. Fact
What better way to control population than making a large percentage of people gay?

They can't breed but can still enjoy sex.
A couple , on average, have 2 kids. 10 million gays means 20 million less people on the planet.

Whether we ( not me ) are evolving this "gay gene " or your God (if you have one " is controlling it, you must agree it will be the most effective way.

Everyone's happy, nobody dies (more than normal) and the population is controlled.

However, there are many diseases that we can not cure and new ones cropping up every day. the fact is, nature will take care of itself. Just as with any other animal, if we have no natural predators and become overpopulated, starvation will even the scales (and it is abundant today).
As far as the whole can't breed but still enjoy sex, there are many straight people out there who can't breed but still enjoy sex. And there are even a few who can breed but don't enjoy sex. A lot of homosexuals a would like to have children, so if pleasure from life (i.e. enjoying sex) is a factor, then this is not a plausible plan.

Gay people are ruining society as we speak. The world still wouldn't be overpopulated it would be underpopulated. And all the things you said are all false. Fact a lot of people die because of diseases. Examples: AIDS, HIV, Flu, Chicken Pox, Measles. Also die from other things Examples: Mosquitoes, Bees, Sharks, Big Cats, Jellyfish, Guns, Knives, Car accidents, Bleeding to death, Death Penalty Suicide, Voodoo. Get the picture? If we had that many gay people then we would be "grave overpopulated" This is God's world not some stupid fantasy by some Atheist! If there was that many gay people then AIDS would be the major disease remember having physical contact with the same sex means a better chance of spreading AIDS.

So many of the responses here are soooo ridiculous, it's laughable.

Gays do NOT "cause" HIV.
"unprotected anal sex" is NOT the cause of AIDS. It does NOT, inevitably (as an above responder implied), lead to HIV transmissing and AIDS.
Gays are NOT "ruining" anything. They are NOT the causes of all the ills in this world. I'll bet more are caused by straight people.
What one does with ones own butthole and/or ones own wee wee is ones own business to dictate.

Gays and Lesbians are Gays and Lesbians, and most of them grew up in the "straightest" and most religious of environments.

I don't hate religious / christian people, but how they treat this matter is disgusting. Let's first get this straight. Gay is defined as a feeling of joy and happiness. Queer on the other hand is defined as odd or deviant. Queers visit this site to attempt to get some kind of comfort that they are not doing anything wrong. They are not looking for answers. If they wanted answers, all they would have to do is dust off that Holy Bible they have sitting on a shelf and read it. You don't want to admit that this is a perverted act. Read Leviticus Chapter 18, Verses 22 and 23. It says: Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion. Did you notice that He put those two verses back to back? Do you know the difference between erotic and perverted? Erotic is when you take a feather to bed with you. Perverted is when you take the whole chicken. So the next time you and your buddies want to play, go to the zoo.

There's an interesting theory of positive deviance that could probably be applied to homosexuality,

People who do things differently may be considered odd or outside the mainstream but they may actually be geniuses or may have found different and better ways to do things that save time or bring greater rewards or other unexplored benefits...deviance is a different approach and it can lead to many advances not possible to quantify.

its the most affective way of diminishing the existence of life in the world. many people dont want the world to wipe out completely. They want to reproduce and create more human beings into this world. They dont want this all to end. people want to gain life, not lose it. why turn gay when you can reproduce with the opposite sex and create life, create existence in the world. Knowing that you are responsible for bringing and giving life.

I cannot possibly sympathize with gays, but I can assure them that if they trust God and repent they will be healed from this unaccepted practice and behavior. The word disgusting is not enough to describe their act, may God heal them from this chronic disease.
