No. Religious persons are those that follow dogma---man-dictated rules and regulations of spiritual order. Christianity is a spiritual system of belief because we touch God through the actions of the Holy Spirit. I am a Christian and I am spiritual, but I do not follow any denominational guidelines in my ministry. I minister according to the Spirit, that is as to how the Holy Spirit leads me. This is true worship of God---worshiping in the Spirit.

Let me get to my favorite finger and moon story. If you take God to be moon and finger to be religion, direction pointed by finger is the sprituality so clearly as one can see, it is not a finger that is important to reach the vision/sight of moon, instead it is the direction that is important. Taking it forward:

a) Religion is only a framework that uses spritual principles/foundation in more structural/process oriented fashion that can be followed by common mass.

b) It is perfectly possible to accomplish spiritual advancements without following any religion but it just makes it more difficult in absence of any specific framework to practice fundamentals of spirituality because initial advancements of spirituality require focused and determined practicing in a manner that awakens the spiritual qualities.

c) Typically non-religious spiritual people will be either those who have certain natural divine gift so that they need the support of religious framework or those who are completely drawn to self-realization through thru exterme forces of their renounced personality. Both of these are not normal ways through which normal common mass can accomplish spiritual advancements.

As they may not belileve in the bible, or Jesus, or any of the stories, that christians believe, they believe in an "answer" maybe it is easier to accept, but at least they searching for truths like we all are, I can't label anyone anything, agnostic, athiest, or whatever, it is not my job, they must make that choice,

Agnostic is the term i think of. Ive at present married thoroughly cut loose any faith, yet have used multiple rituals that are profound for me and my companion. we are freed from goverment, freed from church freed from rules different than our very own and extremely religious. I persoanally am very professional this thought and experiance. putting spirituality interior the palms of the guy is increadibly effectual and profound.

Some non-religious people still have beliefs but they just don't practice them. So I don't think all are agnostic.

Agnostic literally translates as "ignorant."

Ignorant people can't have much of a viewpoint about anything due to their admitted ignorance.
