Well 'I think' that you're a bit thick.
Charles Darwin never told anyone they had to believe his theory (Unlike all the other sources you've named).
He put forward his ideas based on the evidence he found. Everyone was free to examine his findings and they were free to question him on them (Unlike all the other sources you've named).
Monkeys are not turning into Humans today because they are well adapted to their environment.
Apes evolved into hominids during times of environmental change or relocation and it took thousands of generations.
To this day, Charles Darwin's theory of Evolution is the only widely excepted theory on how life has developed on this planet. Even that moron GW Bush had to accept that.
Now stop reading fairy stories, and try and learn something.
Humans are just Apes; death IS the end; the world is unfair.
Get used to it. It all just makes more sense.

Questions like these are the biggest jokes. Anyone who has even fundamentally looked at evolution would know why there are still "monkeys", why pigs are pigs and that yes we, along with most other animals, are still evolving. And it isn't just Charles Darwin's "theory". There were others in his day postulating the same - Darwin just beat them to the punch. And then it has been studied, analyzed and confirmed by thousands of scientists since in all different fields - geology, biology, chemistry, genetics. Really to call evolution false you have to throw out all science.

Pig did evolve - into modern pigs. not all life forms are apt to generate a larger brain, and to carry it through. Also, the ability to carry ourself standing make it easier to have hands to do other things than walking (4 feet are quite a limitation to creating tools, writing...)
Same for lots of other species of high intelligence... the specialization of life forms for living in different environment explains why there are such differences, but the monkey form was the most conducive to humans.
That does not means that we are the smartest... sometimes I feel that we may be the most stupid here on earth.
And, we do still see evolution today, but it is a slow process as always, so you have to look to recognize it. Humans are taller today, more mixed in colors that they have ever been... fecondity is going down, because of our lifestyle. Illnesses are weeding out the weak every day.
Our survival is not based on the same standards: we have shapes that are more and more unisex, because we don't need anymore the differenciation...
As for god creation, it is obviously faulty...

O...K...other people have pointed out that your premise is wrong, but let's just ensure we get this clear...Darwin did not say we evolved from monkeys. He said we and the great apes evolved from a COMMON ANCESTOR. Further evolutionary study has determined this common ancestor evolved in the aftermath of the extinction of the dinosaurs (the leading large predator of the epoch). Essentially, evolution appears to take advantage of all available space - creatures will evolve as far as 'necessary', and as far as possible, to meet the challenges of their existence. We took the dinosaurs' place in this 'leading large predator' role, and pretty much took up the 'evolution-space' for creatures like pigs (if we went extinct, smaller creatures would evolve to take our place, but till then we're at the top of the chain). As for monkeys, they didn't evolve into humans because the challenges of their environment - still largely tree-based as it is - did not require them to evolve into humans. Our common ancestor came down from the trees to live on the ground, which presented it with new challenges to meet - locomotion over land for instance, that were solved by the evolution of, for example, changes to the spine and skeletal structure that made living on land easier and living in trees harder.
The idea of god, sweet though it is, is merely a stop-gap while we evolve the intelligence to comprehend the magnificence of nature. Before we can say "What an amazing universe we are part of, let's preserve it", we need to go through the process of thought that says "All this cannot be an accident, therefore there must be something bigger and like ourselves that made it all". It's cute, but more and more human beings are reaching that point in their evolution when they don't need to wrap themselves in this fallacious logic any longer. Eventually of course, "God" will be regarded by human beings in the same way as a tail - something that used to be useful, but which we've now moved beyond.

Evolution can be witnessed today in certain plant and animal species. Also I expect it is happening in apes as it is in humans even now. Average heights are increasing in the human population for one thing. In the past more than one humanoid species lived in parallel before one dying out as another proved more succesful. How does creationism explain the fossil record? The evidence all leans one way. Science will of course adapt to new proofs and give time to new theories, religions have to stay steadfast to a dogma written eons ago. If all human activity was governed that way I'm sure most of your lifestyle would be gone.

Charles Darwin drew a lot of "evolutionary" conclusions and that is why they are called theories, because they had no scientific proof just scientific conjecture. Until this notion of his, which gave rise to communisms great power, which might speak more about the person who chooses to accept Darwinian theory than it doesn't, it was a vague notion that few had heard of. But it was a great political move to divide the "God-fearing countries from those that weren't" and was originally taught as a distinguishing difference of country belief systems in politics, not science. So one who claims such theory to be a their "god" might should consider it's truer source of origin and purpose - they might not like the notion that many find evolutionarians to also be more in line with communistic thinking than democracy.

You have so many misconceptions of evolution in that short little post that I wouldn't even know where to begin in explaining why it's not a joke.
Study the theory...then you'll know why things don't just evolve overnight and why there aren't any monkeys changing into humans.

Primates are mammals that include lemurs, monkeys, apes and people. The Strepsirrhini, or “moist-nosed” primates, along with lemurs and lorises, branched off round sixty 3 million years in the past. old international monkeys and apes divided from New international monkeys about 40 million years in the past. Aegyptopithecus zeuxis, which probable resembles the immediately ahead ancestor of recent international monkeys and apes, lived about 29 million years in the past. The apes cut up from old international monkeys about 25 million years in the past. people and chimpanzees diverged 5-7 million years in the past. Of the macaque's virtually 3 billion DNA base pairs, ninety 3.5 in protecting with cent are the picture of those contained in the human genome. this isn't unpredicted for a species whose lineage diverged from our own about 25 million years in the past. The human and chimp genomes, which diverged basically 6 million years in the past, are about ninety 8 in protecting with cent same. One complicated discovery is that numerous mutations that reason genetic ailments in people - such as phenylketonuria and Sanfilippo syndrome, which convey about psychological retardation - are the traditional type in macaques and, likely, our own ancestors. So on each and each and every cut up the unique were given left in the back of to stay because it became! The Pope, Catholic Church, Church of england and mainstream church homes all settle for evolution and the tremendous bang!! Lord Carey the former Archbishop of Canterbury placed it okay – “Creationism is the fruit of a fundamentalist mind-set to scripture, ignoring scholarship and serious researching, and complicated different understandings of reality”!! effective that christians and atheists can agree and chortle mutually even no matter if that's on the fundies rate!!

Well this shows that you are ignorant again - As per theory of evolution, Humans did not evolve from monkeys - they evolved from Primates.
For me, the theory of creation is the biggest joke ever, the ones who are serious about it are also Jokers.

It's not a complete joke as apes have similarities to us humans. Humans and apes can both walk upright, and have been walking upright for many many years. they can also pick up, carry, and use objects to their advantage. They only believe that by having apes being able to survey their surroundings, and be able to look out for prey and enemies, led to the evolution of larger brains, which enabled them to think, plan, and communicate with one another. the reason that they dont link other animals together, like pigs, is because they havent done enough research to make their findings substantial and the slightest bit accurate.
