Yes they can Marry
The choice of religion is theres
Why should one have to convert
They should be able to each keep their own
I think this would be better
To show the rest of the World how FOOLISH they are.
Two people in love
LOVE has no BARRIERS
Good luck and my LOVE to ALL those who are UNITED in LOVE

depends
A Muslim man can marry any woman of the book. ie Christian and Jewish woman are OK. If the woman is not Muslim she does not have to convert.
A Muslim woman can only marry a Muslim man. If she wishes to marry a man of another religion he must convert to Islam.
This is to make sure that the children are raised Muslim.
When I married my husband I am a Christian and there were no problems. I later converted but it was my choice no one forced me. My mother in law was the same way. She converted after 13 years of being married. Most of the time living in Iraq but still she did not have any problems being a Christian in a Muslim country.

There is nothing to prevent them being married, however, the Christian should not.
The Bible says:
2Co 6:14 Do not be mismatched with unbelievers. For what partnership is there between righteousness and lawlessness? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?
In the Old Testament God told the people of Israel many times to NOT intermarry with other peoples. The purpose was to avoid poluting the faith.
Today the same principle applies. A believer marrying an unbeliever is fraught with peril from a religious standpoint.
I have no idea what the Muslim view would be.

according to the bible, a christian should never marry a muslim. The muslim is an unbeliever, and will eventually force the force the christian to convert to islam. I know several cases where the refusal of the christian to convert resulted in death threats and physical absuse, and that was in the USA. Do not consider it......

A Christian generally can marry whoever he or she likes, except in rare ultraconservative sects. A Muslim man can marry a Christian wife. But a Muslim woman must marry a Muslim. This is called complete gender equality. :) There is a small penalty in some countries for a Muslim woman marrying a Christian man, she has to die. This is called Sharia justice.

From what I understand, a Muslim man is free to marry a woman of any faith, although I'm not sure if it's restricted to a religion "of the Book" (i.e. Judaism, Christianity). However, a Muslim woman may marry only a Muslim man.

I don't know about the Muslim faith, but a Christian could marry a Muslim. However, it is stated in the Bible that we should marry someone who is equally yoked. As a Christian, everything is permissible, but not everything is good for me. That's not to say that my decisions won't upset God, but that as long as my faith is there, I will remain saved.
But another question is why would they? If a person is true to their faith then God would be the central part of their lives. If they couldn't share that with their partner, what kind of marriage would they have?

Yes but it depends whether the Muslim is a practicing Muslim or not, there may be issues with his/her family.
I don't see any problem the Christian side of things, we will marry anyone we love whatever the religion and our families don't tend to make a big deal if we want to change to our partners religion.

If you are asking this question for your self, then I suggest that you should learn the religion before converting, because muslim are more strict then christaian.
and of course it all depend on how much your partner follow the muslim religion and especially their FAMILY....

It's a nice thought that this could happen...i dont know maybe it has...but i do believe that one would have to convert...and i think it would most probably be the christian person unless each is so strong in their faith that they both decide to let go.
