this is a problem that i also had when trying to install a web cam and there was instructions in the box which told me how to sort it, it is a software problem which has been resolved in Quicktime 7.0.3. so the solution they gave was to install QuickTime 7.0.3. This will resolve any installation issues you may have. Download the latest version of Quicktime at: www.apple.com/quicktime

If you have a newer version of QT, then you don't need to install it. If you are running windows xp, you probably don't even need to install the software for the camera. Xp usually can automatically install whatever components it needs for a device to work. So plug the camera into your computer and see what happens.

If you can't uninstall the newer version, go to your start menu click "run" type in %appdata% find the file for the application (being careful not to get the wrong one) right click, and delete,
simple you should then be able to remove the program if it still appears on your add remove page.
