Peace: that ability within me to be kind regardless of the circumstances or the people; contentment in my own life - not needing more than what I have; a sense of well-being that doesn't have to make sense, it just is; the ability to live with in the confines of my mind and still like who I am; knowing that even in my mistakes, I can make amends, but I don't have to be responsible for the other persons choice to accept it or not; being accountable for my actions and not trying to get everyone else to accept my actions as what ought to be their actions; knowing that life without Jesus Christ is just existence and know living.

peace is the state of being without violence, war and disorder in the world. it brings peace of mind and calmness instead of anger and frustration. its also how life should be instead of what it has been and is still being today. some people link peace to heaven even though there's a possibility that there is no heaven and that people made up so they could live the best way they can and be at peace with God. Without peace the world wouldn't be the way it would be today. It would be far worse.

The Absence of the human EGO is peace. The constant internal & external war is created by the EGO.

When you transcend EGO, you will come to perceive the Divine because you will have nothing but love and compassion for everything around you. This will see you through all the so-called worst points in life.

Peace is when you feel "FREE". The peace is something that telling you that nobody or anything will harm you. The peace appear to be freedom. Peace is when people or anything make you feel you safe. Safe from anything, human, war, animal, monster, disaster and many more.

You only can get peace when you stay in the right path. Unless you suddenly try to use shortcut and facing more problem that will not make you feel peace.

It is very difficult to define with words. It is not the absence of war, calamity, strife and evil. Peace is experienced in the midst of such circumstances, in spite of it. Peace is the calmness of my inner being in the midst of turbulent situations knowing fully well that it will be fine with me because my soul is anchored to a Rock.

Perhaps you intend to say Peace is Islam. In practice, how come that Islam is not in peace with others and within in its own professed nations? My submission is that there can be no peace in this world, unless people are prepared to accept the fact that in this complex world, there are bound to be diverse view points of religion and on any issue; that every person and every group or nation is entitled to hold his/its own views and that he/it is not liable to be penalised by death.

Peace is a sense of being at comfort, without threats, no distress, assurance of getting the dues for hard work, improvement in family & life. A guarentee of fearlessness.

Peace, the absence of strife, war, violence, noise, calamity, anxiety, hatred, and ill-will.

True peace is not known in the world today, and will not be known until after the Return of Christ and the Millennial Reign.

Peace....the absence of war (but I doubt that's the definition of peace you are looking for).

Personal Peace....a feeling of comfort with who you are and how your life relates to the surrounding world.
