To answer your question, atheist are not interested in spiritual truth, they only defend why they are atheist. But that's OK, every man have a right to believe what he wants.

I wouldn't say all people who don't believe in God(s) are athiests some of this just may well be agnostic.

Isn't the atheist goal to disprove god and faith? an agnostic maybe searching for truth but the atheist is sure there is no god to the point of being anti god.
