MMEEEEEEEE.
i love the country. maybe because i've always had to live in a city due to the fact that that is where all the good places of work and study is at, so whenever i can id rather take a break or holiday to countryside. all the trees and lush grass fields. mayber near a lake or river? take long walks esp at sunset or dawn. thats perfect. with maybe my best mates or my borfriend... and not the sound of traffic or screeching trams everywhere.
as for the seaside... there isnt any 'good' ones in UK. not proper ones where the sand is pure white and the sea is deep blue. only place ive been that has that is Bali and Boracay. and requires a £600 plane ticket from here, so... i'd be very happy with just taking the countryside break.

I don't know if you will understand what I am attempting to convey. I prefer seaside holidays, you can always visit the countryside when you get fed up with the beach. If you are in the countryside you are generally miles away from a beach. My way, you can combine the two. It usually is a little more difficult the other way round. But, where ever you choose to go, enjoy yourself.

I would much rather take a holiday in the countryside than the sea side. The countryside has so much more to offer. You have a whole new world to explore in the countryside. You can check out history, go treking, climbing or just relax soaking in the beautiful scenery.

I like to combine the two, there is nowhere on earth better for that than Dorset. It has the rolling hills and beautiful wildlife of the countryside, but all the drama, excitement and fun of the beach as well. I holiday there at least once a year and I wouldn't change it for the world.

I like both, I live on Long Island, love that sparkle off the water as a sail boat is in the distance, super white sea gull against a vibrant blue sky, that sound of the ocean crashing on the beach, the gull calling in the distance, the "Gong" from the bouey that you can barely hear, the wild sunsets, those cool things that you would never think that you would see early in the morning on the beach, one morning a white 10' Baluga whale showed up for a few minutes, then left, VERY COOL to see, I don't know why but, I always return to the sea. A big dish of fresh fried clams and a Lobster fresh lemon and butter, and a beer, at the end of the day. I like to sit on the sand, with my fishing pole out in the surf, my mirrored sunglasses on, smoking a joint, with the warm wind blowing across my sun bleached blonde hair, GOD I LOVE IT !

Me and the wife and kids have just discovered camping, so i would have to say countryside. Never been to a camp site on the coast so its still the country side

I couldn't do a beach holiday. I couldn't just lay there and get a tan.

1) I burn too easily
2) I'd get very bored very quickly.

I like to explore and see the sights, not lay on a beach, I could lay down in my back garden instead. It'd be cheaper and I'd get the same outcome, I'd look like a lobster and still have money in my wallet.
