They do not believe in a supreame being, yet they are still spiritual,
for example, they meditate, one with nature, and all that other stuff.

Just dont believe in a god or a goddess or any other stuff like that.

:)

I can say this from experience...
religion is an organized set of rules and regulations and rituals through which people practice their spiritual beliefs. You can have those same beliefs without doing some of those rituals. Some people simply believe in God, but not all the books of rules that go with.........sometimes because they dont' think any one particular set of rules apply. some people simply try to be "good" and do "what's right", and respect that there is a greater being other than themselves.

dont' confuse religion with spirituality.....than can go together if you want, but they can exist separately.

Well see the pun here is as follows, religious is a spirit, its a religious spirit, and its something like a ceremony that's done always.. it the doing of someting repeatedly. that's religion. Like as Jesus explains that the Pharisees are religious and the only take care of the outside.. the part people can see but on the inside.. nope, no its dark and evil. And they do it all for personal gain. I'm not saying every one who is religious is like this. I would say that they may be disillusioned about what makes them good in Gods eyes.

I think a lot of it is the negative connotation attached to religion. When people ask me if I'm religious I reply no, I'm Christian. Religion and faith are two different things. A person can be religious and unfaithul. Look at the Pharisees.
Someone who goes to church every week and pays offerings and sings the hymns may be considered religious. How they live their life will determine if they are faithful.

It is all about relationship not religiouship. You can be religious and know every word in the Bible, but if you don't have a spiritual relationship with the Lord, you have nothing. You must believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and you have all you need. Very simple. Now tell someone else.

It is probably their way of saying that they are good and that they believe in some kind of Supreme Being, but they don't adhere to any kind of formal religion.

What does it say about their religious beliefs? Good question. Their philosophy is too vague to classify. Christian? Monotheist? Pagan?

It means that they are somewhat like monks who meditate for hours and hours everyday. Trying to find peace and serenity in nature is thieir belief and they do believe in God but they are not a fanatic of any religion. They may or may not follow a certain religion but they believe in the Bible and in God only that they are more interested in meditation. They also believe that through meditation, one can communicate with supernatural beings like angels. They also believe that they can have a closer relationship with God through doing long hours of meditation.

It's like a criminal who doesn't participate in organized crime, not that their acts are totally random, but more whimsical. In a religious sense this translates best as those who feel rather than taking whatever they should feel or do out of a book or a sermon.

the basics of spirituality is love, and not judging others, nor forcing people to believe in one thing, but to be positive and never scared.
meditation allows you to let any stresses which may have built up during the day go. it brings a peace to yourself and ultimately an easier going, more positive and loving outlook on life.

spiritual has no religion.not necessarily be religious to get spirutual powers.blind faith and concentration only required to acquire spiritual power.say anything..think it as god..or that to be acquired...repeat several times...you may feel something on you gradually.not a joke..start feeling the spiritual power within you.
