yes. malaria can be spread by insects. many viruses can be spread by mosquitos. try to stay away from moist areas in the summer.

I've only heard of malaria being spread in that manner. Otherwise mosquito mouths are too small to spread anything else, like AIDS or other blood-borne illnesses. So, you've not to worry, besides malaria... They have "Vivotif," a vaccine you can get to prevent malaria, though.

There are many like DENGUE (Aedes mosquitoes), MALARIA (Anopheles),Filariasis.. Through the help of flies and mosquitoes these diseases are being transmitted. Hope this helps. God bless!
